Hilton is Chairman of Mazars South Africa, former Chairman of the Praxity Africa/Middle East region and serves on the Governing Council of Praxity. Hilton joined the firm (then named Musikanth Cohen and Fine) in 1975, becoming a Partner in 1981. Hilton’s career progressed within the Firm, becoming Senior Partner of Moores Rowland South Africa and represented Moores Rowland International at Board level.
On 1 September 2008, the South African practices of Mazars and Moores Rowland merged to create a national Mazars Moores Rowland practice and Hilton was elected as Chairman. He has also served as a member on a number of external committees for the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. Hilton also serves on the Group Executive Board of Mazars.
