Bill is Managing Partner Emeritus at Plante & Moran and currently leads the firm’s Service Industry practice. In his eight years (2001-2009) as managing partner, Bill led the firm’s growth by expanding Plante & Moran’s geographic footprint and broadening its service and international capabilities.

He has extensive experience in many areas of accounting, tax, and business consulting. Bill works extensively with professional service organizations and frequently speaks on organizational culture. Bill has gained national recognition from Accounting Today (2004-2008) and CPA Magazine (2003- 2006) as one of 100 most influential people in the profession. During Bill’s tenure, Plante & Moran maintained its place on FORTUNE magazine’s list of the “100 Best Companies To Work For” (1999-2011).
