Plante Moran, PLLC , the nation’s 12th largest public accounting and business advisory firm, was named one of the top five workplaces in Michigan in the 2011 Detroit Free Press Top Workplaces survey.
The state-wide survey looked at companies in small, midsize and large categories; Plante Moran was named third in the large companies category. Plante Moran has a tradition of workplace success, receiving numerous workplace awards through the years, including the coveted national award from FORTUNE magazine, which has named the firm one of the country’s best places to work for 13 consecutive years.
The Detroit Free Press highlighted Plante Moran’s standout perks: everyone gets a laptop computer; a $300 bonus was recently offered to staff to use towards the purchase of a smart phone or tablet computer; flex time; health club reimbursement; and a college scholarship program for the children of Plante Moran staff. As part of the Detroit Free Press Top Workplaces award, Plante Moran was selected as the winner of Top Workplace Standout in the Managers category.
