Charlotte, N.C., July 15, 2010 – Scott Linch has been named a Member and appointed Practice Leader for the Transaction Advisory Services practice at Dixon Hughes, the largest accounting firm based in the Southern U.S. In his new role, Linch will lead the firm’s practice in navigating complicated transactions for corporate buyers and private equity groups with a focus on middle market transactions.

Prior to Dixon Hughes, Scott was a partner in the transaction advisory services practice at a regional accounting firm where he worked with private equity groups and strategic buyers in the Carolinas, as well as throughout various parts of the country.
Scott’s background also includes experience in transaction advisory services at Big Four accounting firms in both Charlotte and Chicago. He has dedicated much of his career conducting buy-side and sell-side due diligence for clients in a variety of industries with deal sizes ranging from $5 million to more than nine billion.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Accountancy from Wake Forest University, along with a MBA from the University of Georgia – Terry College of Business. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Association for Corporate Growth.
