We are pleased to announce that Martin Fensome, who heads up the Bentleys Melbourne Assurance practice has been re-appointed to the Australian Federal Government’s Financial Reporting Panel for a further term. Martin has been a member of the panel since its inception in 2006.
The Financial Reporting Panel is an Australian statutory authority established to determine contested accounting issues between the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (the Corporate Regulator) and entities concerning the application of accounting standards and the true and fair view requirement in financial reports. It is an independent third party mechanism which allows disputes to be resolved without the cost of court proceedings.
