Auditing company Rimess celebrated its 15th birthday by expanding its activities in Lithuania
Rimess, a pan Baltic service company and an Associate Firm of Praxity, celebrated its 15th birthday last week. During its 15 years of operations, Rimess has become the biggest auditing company in Estonia among all auditing companies founded by local owners. The company's net sales amount to EEK 46 million. The number of employees in Estonia in two offices Tallinn and Tartu is around 90. Based on its net sales for 2006, Rimess has got the honourable 4th place in the rating of auditing and consulting companies in Estonia.
To give an overview of Estonian market of auditing and consulting companies, here are presented the ten biggest companies by net sales in 2005 and 2006.

Rimess is now expanding its activities in the Baltics. In 2006 Rimess UAB became the first member of Rimess in Lithuania. Now the partners of Rimess UAB and the partners of Renovacija UAB and Audito Reziume UAB are pleased to announce their merger. The combined operation in Lithuania will be present in Vilnius and Kaunas with four audit partners and 35 professional and administrative staff.
Commenting on the merger Genadijus Makuševas, chairman of the board of the merged firm said: "The opportunity to merge with Rimess was unique as we both share the vision of servicing our clients in their national markets and as they develop across the Baltic States and beyond".
This merger creates the ideal platform for Rimess to best serve the clients with the ability to provide them with services using a common methodology and quality. Rimess' ambition is to become the first truly integrated firm in the region, providing audit, accounting, tax, legal and corporate finance services to clients operating in national markets as well as in the Baltic states.
