Dixon Hughes PLLC is collaborating with IASeminars, a leading provider of training courses on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), to offer CPAs and other financial professionals a comprehensive global range of IFRS training solutions.

“The SEC will clarify the roadmap for the adoption of IFRS by public companies in the U.S. next year,” stated Martin Schlaeppi, Dixon Hughes Member-in-Charge of Client Services & Market Development. “Through our collaboration with IASeminars, Dixon-Hughes professionals will be able to assist CPAs and other preparers and users of financial information in preparing for this complex and important changeover.”

Dixon Hughes professionals and clients will have access to more than 100 IASeminars public courses on IFRS, as well as customized on-site courses. These will be led by a team of instructors who have the specialized skills and knowledge needed to communicate complex technical materials to a professional audience. The Dixon Hughes- IASeminars courses will cover topics such as first-time adoption of the new standards, preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, and major differences between IFRS and U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

“IFRS is coming to the U.S., just as it has already come to Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil, India, Japan and most other major countries,” says IASeminars CEO Marc Gardiner. “If you are in the business of preparing or consuming financial information, this will affect you. IASeminars and our colleagues at Dixon Hughes can help – we offer hundreds of live IFRS technical courses in all major U.S. Cities.”
