There are three types of participants:

  • Member: firms with full international commitment, located in key centres.
  • Associate: strong national and regional firms.
  • Correspondent firms providing additional geographic coverage.

Firms which participate in Praxity are selected on the basis of a rigorous self assessment and classification process designed to demonstrate technical capability, commitment to quality, financial strength and leadership positioning within their respective geographies throughout the world. Firms which share Praxity's values are invited to join the alliance in the future. Their applications will be considered by the Membership Committee on the basis of these founding criteria. The final decision belongs to the Management Board upon recommendation of the Membership Committee.

As an alliance, Praxity does not practice the profession of public accountancy or provide audit, tax, consulting or other professional services of any type to third parties. The alliance does not constitute a joint venture, partnership or network between participating firms. Because the alliance firms are independent, Praxity does not guarantee the services or the quality of services provided by participating firms.
